I just got a digital camcorder. Its a sony Handycam. Well I was looking into buying MiniDV cassettes for it.

Well I have been looking into the diffrent Cassettes. Looks like there is standerd and HD cassettes. The HD ones cost almost 5x the price. Do they even work on my camcorder and would there be any advantage to useing them at all?

If you had an HD camcorder, you would want the HD cassette. Since you don't, you want standard MiniDV cassette.

Good Answer. I didnt know if by using a HD Cassette I might get alittle better image or longer recording time. But I guess not so Ill go with the Standard.
