cd fix service?
I have a scratched cd, and seems like the only thing that can help is giving it the "skip doctor" treatment, since the toothpaste fix doesn't work.
However I don't feel like spending 40-50 bucks on something I don't even know for sure to work. Does anyone know if Blockbuster or other stores that carry games, or office stores etc ever let customers use their skip doctor, right there at the store? Or do it for them, for a fee? I guess it is a long shot, but I can't afford to waste that much money on chance...

I've never used one of those CD Doctor's before, but I know for sure that I've never got the toothpaste thing to work. I've also never heard of Blockbuster or any rental place letting customers use it. You could call and ask politely though.
