Powerpoint - Business card question

I'm trying to create some business cards and am a novice using Powerpoint but now have created something ok but don't know how to get it into business card format or am I using the wrong program entirely? I tried word but they just didn't look good.

Is there any free and easy card programs out there?

Thanks again?

I'd use Word. I'm not entirely sure, but I think there might even be a Business Card Wizard in there, or maybe a Business Card Template. PowerPoint is definitely the wrong program though; it's used for multimedia presentations. Hell, even if Word doesn't have any templates, it would still be fairly easy to design a nice Business Card with it.

Adobe Pagemaker, Quark XPress, Adobe Acrobat

Used all 3 of those when I worked at a print shop making biz cards. 3.5x2in fit 12-up on a 8.5x11in piece of paper with a .25in margin

yeah, powerpoint is not the best program to create business cards in... in fact.. powerpoint is more or less for slideshows and presentations... but... to each his own...

i'd definitly use word, or wordperfect, or whatever programs hal suggested... most word processors have templates for business card setups...
