iPod to play in 2003 Chevy Trailblazer

Does anyone know if it's possible to get an auxillary input into a Chevy Trailblazer factory cd changer which already has OnStar. The cables I see online only seem to be for the Yukon and Tahoes. The asshole at the auto audio store hadn't even heard of that cable so he was quite useless.

All he could recommend was the FM modulator which I am getting tired of because of the constant interference. I have a factory rear seat DVD player, but that doesn't seem to play through the stereo.
Thanks

I don't know the answer, but I'm betting that the folks in the forums over at iPodLounge will. Be sure to get to the Gear/Auto Install section, 'cause they get a little pissy if you post in the wrong section.

I *highly* suggest the Griffin iTrip. It's an FM transmitter that cane use any frequency in the FM spectrum. That should easily solve your interference problem.

Also, look at a Yukon or Tahoe and see if the stereo and CD changer are the same. Most car makers use the same setup in a lot of their cars, so it might work in yours.

I don't know if that system has an auxillary input, but I've always just had good luck with the FM modualtors... what kind of interference are you getting?

the FM mods are kinda sketchy, i have heard (i don't own one) that you have to have it just right in order to get a good signal.

its basically the only option so you don't have to replace your deck.

I personally got a JVC deck with an AUX input on the front and have my 5gb iPod running when ever i use it. there's some wires but i can manage with it, seeing i have 1000 songs at my finger tips
