I keep getting booted from every server, even with a low ping. I get through the download process with the progress bar and then BOOM--I'm kicked! Does anyone have any ideas?

Nothing. It goes straight back to my desktop--very annoying.

That's a very known problem with Battlefield. I can't remember the exact solution because there are a lot of solutions. If you check out the Battlefield forums you're bound to find the fix somewhere. I know that video card drivers, sound card drivers, and Direct X issues can all cause it. Having a crappy computer can also cause it too, however.

I got the problem fixed--I think. I just rebooted a couple of times and it seems to be working now. Thanks for all the suggestions.

Mine has issues like this in Desert Combat, but it isn't the server, it's the maps that the servers are running. Berlin, Iwo Jima and a few others do this to me.

just make sure you are running the same version on your comp as the server is running. If it is not the same it will not work
