XP Icons Question

In XP you have the option of displaying your icons, ie thumbnails, tiles, icons, list, details. I like my icons in the list form but XP keeps changing them back to icon. Is there a way to stop this from happening? Thanks

Open Explorer...

Goto View, Change it to List

Goto Tools, Options.

Second Tab Along "view", click apply to ALL folders...

Hopefully presto... I get all mine listed now.
