problems installing second display adapter in winxp

I'm currently running XP Pro and I'd like to use dual monitors. My current video card is a Radeon 7500 all-in-wonder 64 mb agp. I'm running the most recent drivers and I have no problems with it. I'm trying to add an ATI Rage 128 GL PCI card for my second display but I get an error, "This device cannot start. (Code 10)" when windows detects it. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling with no effect. Does anyone know if there's something special I need to do to get the second card working?

That is odd... I have been running dualies for about a year now and have never had that problem. If I had to guess, I would say the vid card is bad. XP should automatically detect the card, and assuming it is old enough and common enough, install drivers automatically.

Anyone else have any ideas?

Googled.

Search engines are great for looking up error codes.
