windows scripting books

Can anyone recommend a decent beginning book for windows scripting? mostly I'm looking for VB. I have no code experience except BASIC back in the day. I picked up Windows Scripting Secrets on Amazon, but it jumped over my head quickly. I spent an hour on Amazon looking but was left undecided. Any thoughts?

Well, my problem is that I have to pull apart some VBScripts that came down from upon high and use them in my organization. I don't have the time or flexibility to pursue another track right now. I need to get up to speed pretty quickly.
