Right click save as.....

I just converted to XP, I know I'm a little behind. but anyway when I try to save pictures (motorcycle pictures yeah that's it) they come up as untitled.bmp and I don't have the option to save them as jpg's. I don't mind having them as bmp's but hate to have to type a filename sometimes.

Do you have the option when you right click on a picture to "save picture as" ?

Empty your cache. Really, empty all cache files.

I tried to do a search of the TFP to show that this question has been asked before, and emptying the cache took care of the problem. I can't seem to do a search though.

when you say cache, are you talking temporary internet files or what?

Yes, if you're using IE:

Tools--> Internet Options--> Delete Files

Also in XP, to do it all at once:

Start --> Programs --> Accessories --> System Tools --> Disk Cleanup

Cleans out plenty of old Windows Earwax.

There are other ways to do this, of course. My Computer, right-click your C-drive, properties, and you should have a "Disk Cleanup" tab.

Excercise your right to clean your disk!
