Sign in screen in XP home
I want to completly eliminate the Sign in screen in XP home. I've tried going to user accounts and unselecting "use the sign in screen", but then I still get a sign in screen and have to hit enter to get rid of it. Is there a way to just buypass a sign in alltogether?

Try Tweak UI. It is available from Microsoft's web site on the downloads section under Powertoys for Windows XP. I'm pretty sure that is how I did it on my computer. I'm sorry I don't have a direct link, I'm on a library computer right now and it only allows one page open at a time so I can't search.

Here's the link.
Microsoft.com About 3/4 of the way down the menu is a "login" option. Expand that and "autologin" will appear. It isn't too big a hassle, you just need the right tool. ![]()
