Processor Freq Help

My motherboard has these switches that lets you chose the system bus freq.

it can be either 100, 133 or 166.

the board is a gigabyte (ga-7va-c) http://www.giga-byte.com/MotherBoard...s_GA-7VA-C.htm

and the processor is an athlon xp 2000+.

anyone know what this should be set to?

the mobo manual says "the internal frequency may depend on the CPU"

AMD Athlon XP 2000+/266 FSB Processor CPU - Retail 2000+/ 1.67GHz

that's the processor.

plz tell me what to put the switch on.

thanx

I'm 95% sure that it should be 133 because that's half your FSB speed. Can anyone confirm?

yes the AMD XP's double the FSB so you would use the 133 (doubled is 266)
