Linux AMD motherboard reccommendation

I'm setting up a NAS system, and I want a stable, set-and-forget AMD motherboard.

I've been out of the AMD game for a while...what's good these days? Which chipsets are better, etc?

I don't want flashy...I want solid.

Any thoughts?

Yeah, I have heard good things about ASUS and ABIT. Especially ABIT.

definitely.

apparently only Abit makes the NF7. I was thinking of a word that started with an A. It's Abit, not Asus.

Definitely get the NF7 nforce 2 chipset type motherboards. (abit)

I would say it depends on what you need, if you dont need or want dual channel memory, the single channel boards are cheap and still worthy and the VIA chips are pretty equal to NVIDIA's. Tomshardware did a nice article on this:

Motheboards
