Adding a case fan.

Ok. Im about to cut a hole in the side of my case to add another fan. I need to know what part of my NF7-S 2.0 would be the best place for it to blow. There is already a fan that blows right below my power unit, pretty much right on my CPU fan. Should I put the other fan near my AGP slot or near the BIOS battery so itll cool my bridges?

I would put it near the AGP slot or blowing over the drives (if possible)

Just remember, its not how much air you can push in, its about how much you can push in AND out.

You should try to maintain a slightly negative pressure in the case. That is, have a little more exhaust than intake.

There is a good article at Overclockers.com here.

thanks for the article Yakimushi.

I am thinking that either I need the new fan on the AGP slot or the bridges. Where will it do the most good? I have two blowing on my drives already. As far as the whole pos/veg case pressure I am still researching it beacuse there seems to be a lot of differing opinions.

I would put it so it blows on the AGP, because if you get a new motherboard, you will be stuck with a fan that is blowing on nothing (possibly), while if you put it in the AGP area, it will always be there. Your graphics cards usually get pretty hot too. Always good to get some more air in there. Make sure you have as much blowing out as you do in though.

if you have a fan below your p/s blowing air IN, and your p/s is blowing air OUT, you're killing air circulation in your case. Turn the fan below the p/s around, then install a fan (or two) at the front and bottom of your case. Air should enter low and exit high.
