Best FREE P2P flie sharing?

I have used Mozilla and Kazza and I am pretty dissapointed with both. They both slowed my computer down to a crawl. After using both for a week or two ad aware found almost 2000 different files.
What free p2p prog do yall use? Is there one that dosent have a ton of spyware and pop ups that a lot of people use?

KaZaA Lite

Hard to find since most of the servers are shut down but if you find it, it is nice.

It is essentially KaZaA without popups/spyware/adware/ads

Bittorrent is good, but as there are shitlodes of different clients out there, which would you guys recommend as being less bloatzy than the rest, based on a Win32 environment.

Some of my personal faves so far are Azureus and NovaTorrent.

I want to use CuteFTP and mIRC but it is pretty daunting to get started. SiN do you know where I can learn how to get started?

I use Azureus exclusively... seems to be stable and have the most information available when I want to see progress...

IRC and FTP is good if you like waiting to maybe get the file. I prefer emule where you wait and definitely get the file. Torrent is good only if there are lots of seeds. Torrents can dry up and die far too easily in my opinion. Kazaa K++ is good but there are tons of viruses and bogus song files. Soulseek is my preferred option for music.

I like most mentioned above, kazzaa lite is good for music, mIRC is better for movies and apps, and eMule is good for all kinds of things... eMule tho, doesnt have many servers in the US so youll have to connect to a European server in order to use it, also need to open some ports on your router...

bittorrent for porn and non $$AA owned materials.
Usenet for everything
IRC for everything
eMule for porn
Kazaalite for sick porn and songs.

Irc is good, but there's a learning curve. If you think about it, find a good web page that explains file transfers.

eMule is good, but a bit slower than Kazaa

if you're thinking Kazaa, try and get K++/Kazaa Lite, they don't inlcude the spyware that the Media Desktop (full version) contains.

emule is the best one that I've used so far! It's as easy to use as kazaa, it has no bloatware, and best of all you can find literally any file you want!!!

I'm talking any song, movie, or even dos game!

Only downside is that some files can take a few days to finish and if your ISP has you on an upload cap it can get pretty dicey!

Once you get the hang of it, IRC is pretty easy to use. Sure, it takes more patience than P2P clients do, and maybe its just the geek in me, but I like it better. I just queue up a few things and leave my computer on while I sleep. By the time I wake up, everything is done.

1 answer to eDonkey, gnutella, gnutella2, torrent, etc.

http://www.shareaza.com/

I didn't check, but it prolly comes with spyware (running Ad-Aware right now since I thought about it). However, the program is nice.

//Edit: Didn't find spyware related to this program that I can see.

dc++ all the way.

well if you share enough to get into the good hubs that is. 10 gig or so get's you into quite a few hubs around 30 get's you into some great ones. 150 will get you in nearly anywear(I share 160 so Iv'e never gotten into those wacky 200 or 500+ hubs). But really small hubs are the best, much easier getting slots.

also the best and most anonymous p2p system is a friend with a dvd burner.

I only use soulseek for music. I love how you can choose to download the whole folder instead of each individual song. It's not as fast as kazaa lite though. I also have no idea how "safe and anonymous" soulseek is. If anyone knows, please let me know.

I use kazaa lite for porn. I really like it for porn.

My old computer crashed 5 days before I built my current one so I lost 5 years worth of downloaded porn. Had an awesome collection too.
