help plz

i have soalseek and i see that some people have there whole c drive shared. it there a was to see what files and how many you are sharing. if i can i want to set it to share nothing. anyone know how.

ps nothing illegal shared here.

IIRC, in the "sharing world" its very rude to take and not give anything back and alot of people will stop your downloads when they see this.


Its been forever since i've used soulseek since i just purchase off of iTunes now, but i believe it shares your desktop by default. I'm sure if you poke around in the preferences you'll find what you are looking for.

with win2k you have admin shares shared by default, there is a reg hack to turn this off and you can google for it.

admin shares:

each storage drive is shared and hidden, but they are not realy hidden that well

the c drive is shared as C$
the d D$
