Need Help Please
My grandfather just gave me his Compaq laptop. I was going to hook it up to the internet with my router, but it doesnt have an ethernet port. It only has the jack for the phone line. It does have a USB though. So my question is, is there any way i can hook this up to highspeed internet with an ethernet or USB?

It probably has pcmcia slots?
If so, you could get a pcmcia network card (which has ethernet support) and connect the laptop that way
