So far I have heard both good and bad things about the game. Some say it’s the most incredible game they have ever played. Some say it doesn’t live up to all the hype. One of the big complaints I have heard is its way to dark, really hard to see. If you have played, what do you think? Is it what you expected? Would you recommend it? Thanks

I haven't gotten that far into it yet, but so far so good. I agree about the darkness thing though... makes things a little harder. I give it a thumbs up.

And thumbs zero. Neither up or down. Has high and lows.

I like it, but then again, I wasn't as excited about it as some. I completely agree about the darkness. It is too dark. However, the darkness adds a great atmosphere that you wouldn't be able to get with well-lit areas. It's also very frustrating to have to put your flashlight away to fire your weapon, and that often gets me into more trouble than I need.

Overall, great graphics, amazing atmosphere, and while I'm not very far into the game (video card problems), great gameplay. Thumbs up.
