Protowall -- necessary?

I don't know much about it except that it's supposed to block the RIAA and MPAA from seeing what you're sharing on P2P. I have Sygate running, so am I fine? Or is protowall more than a stripped-down firewall?

the PG blocklist is pretty much bullshit, blocks a lot of legit things.

if they want to catch you, they will.. protowall or not. it just gives a false sense of security imo.

Agreed. The whole concept is flawed--all the **AA has to do to get around it is change their IP, and the rulesets are now completely wrong. By the way it works, it will always be one step behind.
