Editing classpath environment

Hello everyone,

I work on Mac platform and i've been having a very hard time trying to figure out how to set Java on mac, however finally i figured.

Also, i am a huge novice of java programming. Since i'm a first year cs major student now, my instructor gave me a task in which cs1.Keyboard class needs to be imported in order to write the java. But the thing is that neither emacs nor Xcode(if anyone familiar with this) has this class for compiling and running java progs. IF you understand my situation of programming on Mac, could you suggest on how to find that class package and edit the classpath environment in Xcode or emacs? Thanks so much.
