XP activation error

Windows xp pro I bought it.When I log in asks to activate I already did when i say to activate again it says already activated.I just installed suse 9.1 on another partition and I use a floppy to boot into suse.
Any ideas

and why don't you call them?

I would think they offer some sort of cs for this?

(not an activation expert, just guessing/encouraging only legitimate discussion here).

a hotline should be available 24/7 for ms product activation (remember the incovienance is too reduce piracy!...wait..nvm )

An XP pro key will not continue to work if you have to re-install (ie after a crash). After a few times using it, it won't work - hence the MS phone number...

I called I must admit they were good. A little reg editing and reactivate. Incovienate
but fixed. I hope it stays that way.But they had no idea why it did it.
Thanks I didnt even think to call them maybe it was that 4hr call to my isp at work that turned me off call support. Im no guru but I was smarted than my isp guy I was joking when people asked what I was doing I said stump the ISP guy.I went through 3 guys at my isp I was not Impressed.
