Yahoo Messeger problem.. - Tilted Forum Project - TFP - Sexuality, Philosophy and Political Discussion

A friend of mine will be on Yahoo talking to me, when all of a sudden she stops recieving my IMs. I see hers, but nothing goes through to her. I know it's not me as I use Yahoo all the time. She's tried reinstalling and making sure she had no firewall problems and such. Also to be noted she never actually logs off when it stops, her fault or otherwise. She's still online according to my buddy list. Anyone have any ideas what the problem could be?

Does this only happens when she chats with you or does it happen when she chats with others as well? How long does it take for her name to disappear from the online buddy list when she logs off?

Instantly off my list whenever she logs off. And she hasn't talked to anyone else so just me I guess.

The only thing I can think of is if she is on a wireless internet connection, she may have low signal and may periodically lose her connection for just a few seconds at a time.

I know that used to happen to me before they blocked yahoo here at work....we had a dsl connection that dropped constantly but would kick back up...I never knew when I was on or not

We talk all the time just fine on AOL Messeger..
