Photo Shop Error - Tilted Forum Project - TFP - Sexuality, Philosophy and Political Discussion

Has any one ever seen an error when using Adobe photoshop 4.0 with the message. "Disk error -36 while reading or writing virtual memory file. Sorry, but this error is fatal." I am using a IBM desk top running XP. and is there any fixes. I am not a compleat computer wizz. But thanks for your help in advance.

You're out of disk space. Either free up some space, or in preferences use another drive for scratch files. I haven't used 4.0 in ages, but you might also be able to tell it to use a smaller scratch files vs RAM size.
