Outlook Express Problem

I searched for any previous posts concerning this but couldn't find any...

The identity Logon screen for Outlook Express keeps popping up over the top of aything else I am doing. For example, I may be playing a game and this login box pops up and switches the computer to the desktop. I have to manually switch back to the game after clicking Cancel.

Anyone know how to make it stop doing this? I looked through the settings but didn't see anything.

Do you mean the username/password box for checking e-mail?

Can't you just turn off outlook express when playing a game?

You can turn off automatic send / recieve, or tell it to store the password, or just close it while running games?

Might be better anyway so the machine can focus more on running the game and less on background tasks.

It is closed...the Identity login box with the names pops up. I think whenever an email is received this pops up even when Outlook Express is not running.

Yeah, I hate it too, but there is the wife factor. She doen't like changes after she learns to use a program.

tell it to store your password like Bratwurst said.

tell your wife that changing program settings is part of learning a program.

(I'd toss it)
