ive found a few pulverised bugs in my fans over the years..would probably only do damage if it was some massive bug that managed to stop the fan blades from turning. then it would probably make ure computer overheat and turn off

smart to clean out any remains, as well, since the guts could, in theory, cause a connection between two things that otherwise wouldn't be

i've had something buzzing in my laptop fan for months, it's starting to really make me mad... i cant see it or get it out, but if i shove something though the holes and push the fan upwards slightly, it quiets down to a normal level.... i made a makeshift thing to push the fan upwards when i'm using it on hard surfaces.... i dont know how to take the computer apart wihtout breakign it nore do i want to seperate with it to get it repaired!

Dude. I have no suggestions, but that was the funniest thread header I've seen in weeks! Thanks for the laugh, even though it's not funny.

I make it a point to vaccuum out my fans every month. Especially that bottom mounted intake fan in my laptop. Seems designed to suck in dust.

Lucky for me, I have a compressor at home and at work. I periodically remove the panel and use the air hose to dust the computer inside & out. I think a household vacuum will work for the bug issue.

I have yet to have a bug stuck in my PC, perhaps it's time you fumigated your house?

Well...here is a bug from a computer. Removed in 1945 or 1947.
