Looking for My mEgg MP3 player driver.

Looking for driver.

I'm looking for a driver for Win98 for a MymEgg Mp3 player. (USB)
The box says to goto www.mymegg.com for the drivers, but apperently the company is out of business now so the web site is gone.

If anyone can find these drivers in cyberspace somewhere that someone downloaded when the company did exist, I'd be grateful.

I've searched driverguide.com, and placed a request there as well.

Any other driver sites I should be checking out?

Let me know - thks all!

The player doesn't show up as a removable hard drive in windows? A lot of (If not most) players do that, and you can then just drag the files onto it.

I'm not sure on this, but I think some versions of Windows 98 do not natively support usb drives, and need a driver.

Have you ever used a usb drive with your machine Tirian? If not, then maybe you could try install drivers for some generic usb drive, and see if that works for your mp3 player.

Might be worth a shot?

Thanks - it works good on 2K and newer, but my kids have a couple of 98 boxes for playing around on. I have dowloaded a number of generic device drivers to try. Chances are reasonable that one of these may work.

It would be cool to have a copy from the company if any one on this planet snagged a copy before the company folded.
