The "OMG I wish this were real" fantasy thread
I'm personal toward steampunk art, and pistols. The question for me lies between ray gun or combustion?
Here are some of my favorite picks: Nerf actually makes this! ![]() Mhmmm ray gunny goodness ![]() ![]() Clip could be better on this one but I like it cause it reminds me of Warhammer40k bolt pistols. ![]() This ain't bad either ![]() So post your favorites!

The original Blade Runner Blaster is going on Auction soon and is expected to go for over $150,000. It looks pretty cool.
There are replicas all over the net: ![]()

Squall's gunblade looks pretty cool, but the buster sword has to be the best!

So I get the lightsaber, that is pretty cool, and the gunblade, ok its nifty, but come on, the buster sword? All it is is a giant unwieldy sword. You could have a freakin death ray for gods sake! It was cool in the game but not something I'd actually wish for. (plus you can buy one, no?)

Uh, Valve made some great guns:
The gravity gun, in HL2: ![]() The Portal gun: ![]() Also, the Laptop Gun from Perfect Dark, which also could act as a standalone turret, automatically targeting enemies and shooting them down.

Yeah, I'd have to rock the M41A with flamethrower taped to the side. It's like 23 pounds of close quarters critter chewing action.

![]() This could be easily misinterpreted, however, I have enjoyed a helluva lot of time in this fantasy environment.

Is that a giant robo codpiece? Man, I'd totally shoot 'em in the codpiece first. Use a 155 at short range.
